Antique Planters Old Store Jar

1940 Leap year edition

This original Streamline Jar has its original lid, there are no

Chips or cracks. The Jar is in excellent vintage condition.

The Black, White, Green, and yellow lid shows signs of oxidation

From age, but adds a patina to the logo.

This was used as a nickel peanut jar for sales.

This rare and collectible jar stands 8 9/12” tall

7 9/12” wide and the opening is exactly 5’wide.

The glass had the air bubbles and variations of thickness

Known in early pieces.

The embossed word PLANTERS marks the front on a diagonal.

In raised letters on the bottom- 1940. LEAP YEAR JAR

MADE. IN.U.S.A.

The pictures verify the age and authenticity of the piece.
