I do not know anything about this item specifically. It was one of those things one finds in the back of a parents cupboard when clearing out.I do not know how old it is but believe it to be late Victorian, though it may be Edwardian. It is clearly a plated item but there are no makers marks. It is tarnished, though it has clearly been cleaned in the past, and would repay some TLC. However it is not damaged, no dints, or repairs that I can see. It would have been someones pride and joy in the past, not rich enough to own silver but wanting to add some style to their table. The scoop which comes with it is the original and the pattern is a match. On my scales it weighs 347 grams From base to handle it measures 6 inches high and the baisin is approximately 4 inches. Please feel free to ask any questions.
