ANTIQUE PLAYING CARDS SKAT 36 SQUARE NO INDICE 1870 APRX !!! Up for auction is a very old set of Skat playing cards. We are no experts in these, but it is our understanding that this deck is a square cornered no indice deck court with 2 ended court cards. These are likely manufactured from 1865-1890. T is no makers mark or duty stamp that we can find. We don't know if this matters, but the colored ink on the court cards is printed outside the black lines. Four of the cards are damaged. The 6 of Diamonds is torn in two. The King of Clubs, King of Diamonds and the Jack of Hearts are creased. The cards appear dirty. Please see the pictures. These are being sold as-is.
