ANTIQUE COMPENSATED POCKET BAROMETER This barometer has a compass and a thermometer on the back side. The compass spins freely and has a little switch which locks it from turning. It is in very good condition with wear that is in keeping with it's age. There is one small dent on the outer edge of the back side (see photos). The thermometer bulb is full but there are intermittent lines and dots of mercury along the length of the tube. The glass both front and back is also in good condition. There is a small area that is a bit tarnished on the back, but I didn't want to try and clean this incase I broke the thermometer. The bezel turns but is quite stiff. I'm sure that it would be relatively easy to free this off. It measures approx. 47mm in daimeter and is 22mm in depth. I am not qualified to comment on if item works accurately, but this is no reason to assume that it doesn't.
