This discription is of a very simular watch that was for sale on Ebay some time ago the only difference is mine is 50mm in diameter. I have used this description as i am not a jeweller or a watchmaker expert, just a retired person wants to sell his watch. Apparently this is a VERY RARE CHRONOGRAPH pocket watch with 5MINUTE CENTRE SECOND FLYBACK..... (IE. the centrehand takes 5 minutes to revolve just once!!!!!!..... VERY UNUSUAL) FLYBACK SWEEP CENTRE SECONDS and 60 MINUTE RECORDING DIAL dating from around 1900( with gilt and gunmetal case i think) SEE PICTURES. I am led to believe the movement is a swiss counterpoised lever with complicated chronograph work fitted above the top plate as can be seen in the movement photograph, the movement is in good condition and good working order and keeps pretty good time ( may want cleaning adjusting) it is unsigned apart from the PATENT NO 21703 with LE CHAUFFEUR written across the face of the watch it winds, sets and ticks away quite happilly. the time is set by depressing the pin at 1 o'clock the seconds chronograph is activated bydepressing the crown, pressing it a second time causes it to stop, and pressing it a third time causes it to flyback to zero, the secondhand takes a full 5 minutes to revolve just once VERY RARE, if permitted to run on there is a 60 minute recording dial at 12 o' read more
