This set was manufactured some time around 1938 and is in mint condition. Featuring a beautiful embossed (raised surface) design with scalloped edges trimmed in gold, each piece displays the distinctive "W" Wawel manufacturer's mark. Included are the following pieces: 6 Dinner Plates (10.5" in diameter) 12 Bread Plates (6.5" in diameter) 12 saucers (5.75" in diameter) 11 teacups 2 full sized meat/service platters** 1 large vegetable serving bowl 5 salad bowls 1 soup bowl or smaller service bowl 1 creamer 1 sugar bowl 1 sugar bowl lid As an added bonus to the winning bidder I will be including several "spare" pieces. Although the primary pieces are in superior condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines or discolorations, these bonus pieces do reflect minor chips or hairlines. They are adequate service pieces but not in pristine condition.
