Antique Porcelain + BRONZE French Clock Garniture c1890 This is a real beauty. This French hand painted porcelain and bronze mounted clock garniture is made around 1890. Blue ground porcelain with very typical for the 18 th century paintings highlighted with gilded lines. Porcelain is in excellent good condition due to the age and is signed as you can see on the picture by F.Garnier. Clock case and the candelabras are ornate with bronze ornaments & lion heads. Bronze with a patina of the age is in good condition. The candle holders are placed at different levels it is also very extraordinary. Beautiful dial with pierced inlay has some restoration of the Arabic numerals. Good running and striking condition with 8 days going work and the 1/1 and 1/2 hours striking on a bronze silvered bell. On the back plate of the movement the logo st am ped by the maker AD. MOUGIN Deux Medailles . Key, bell & original pendulum with matching numbers included. A beautiful & rare decorative clock, don't miss it!
