Very pretty antique candle holder with gold trim and dragon decoration. There is a mark on the bottom in blue of crossed swords which I think is the Meissen mark, but I am not an expert so could be wrong. Please email me if you know and I'll be happy to correct the listing! Other marks on the bottom are the number 1255 and 53. The metal drip insert is removable and marked on the bottom with a scratched in XIII and 265/7365. It looks to be in really nice condition, please see photographs -- no chips. Measures 3 1/8" high x 2 1/8" at base x 1 3/16" top. The metal insert measures 1 11/16" x 7/8". Thanks for looking! I just listed an antique brochure on The Royal Porcelain Works which shows a similar hallmark as an imitation of the Dresden mark (although the one I have has a dot under the swords). Please check out the listing for 'Antique Pamphlet, A Guide to The Royal Porcelain Works to see the photo (it is number 29 in the book) if you're interested.
