Antique Boy Doll & RockerLot of 2I came into possession of this RARE Doll from thegranddaughter of the original owner who displayedthis doll with pride. She said when her mother gotthe doll, she had a wood craftsman make a Rocker forher to display the Doll sitting in the rocker. You cantell by the condition of the rocker & doll as to the loveand care the two pieces were given.This Bisque China/Porcelain Doll has a soft body andporcelain head, forearms, lower legs & feet. This boyhas painted textured black hair, blue eyes, and blackshoes. His outfit consists of a black velvet suit withknicker pants, black braid trim and a tatted lace collaron the jacket, and a button down cream colored shirt &a gold satin cumberbund.The beautifully grained Wood Rocker is stained in amedium brown shade and was made with dowels -no nails and has a very smooth finish . The designfeatures a solid back & seat with turned spindles oneither side of the back, legs, arms, and cross bars.Signed on bottom "N" with a horizontal line throughit & "1-76"Doll is in very good vintage conditionwith little wear from age and previousdisplay. No chips, cracks, or crazing -believe all original clothing.
