This is a beautiful piece and very hard to find. This post office came out of the Gold Rush Country in California. The town no longer exists which was in Mariposa county. T are two panels with stained glass signage. It comes with a postmaster desk and many boxes. It was purchased by my parents in the 1960's out of Coarsegold, California in an antique store. My parents used it for decor in the house and I have been using it in my retail store as display and the register area. I will have some more photos soon. I am happy to show it to you if you are in the area.
I have added some more photos that shows the desk, one of the sets of PO Boxes. and close up of the window and stain glass. The red color is paint not rust. It came that way to us when purchased in the 1960's. T are more boxes that run more horizontal and are in three sizes. Please e-mail with any questions. This would need to be picked up and it is not deliverable and cannot be shipped. I accept PAYPAL and money orders. I expect payment within 3 business days after auction closes. Arrangements will be made for pickup at that time near downtown San Diego, California Thanks for your interest!
