ANTIQUE POT-BELLY CAST IRON STOVE Size 20" wide x 22" high with 2 removable hotplates that measure 8" wide. On the hinged door cover it is deeply engraved with: "Oakland Fdy. (Foundry) Co., Belleville, Ill." The door opens to place the coal, wood or paper fuel into the stove's"belly." Below it is an ash door that opens with a twist knob. Decorative arched shaped legs. One owner. The "laundry stove," as it was called because it boiled the water in the copper vats for the laundry, came with the owner's 1927 house. The stove was attached to a stove pipe that was attached to the chimney. Heavy weight. Good Condition. Would look awesome with a nice glossy coat of black paint. Would make a nice table if a glass tabletop was added to it. The buyer must pick up this stove at my home in Niagara Falls, NY. It cannot be shipped at all, as it is very heavy and large. It will require an adult to help me load this onto the buyers vehicle. I accept PayPal, Cash or Money Orders. I DO NOT accept personal checks.
