This Antique 2 Gallon Butter Churn was made at the Love Field Potteries in Dallas Texas sometime between 1923-1948. This Churn is in Great condition other than the half dollar size chip taken off the top side of the rim. The cover is in excellent condition other than one small size chip on the bottom. For the year of this Churn it is in excellent condition. The small holes just above the handles were t to insert wire handles to move them when they were Empty. It measures a little over 12" tall and 8 1/2" wide. I purchased this from an Estate Auction. If you are intrested in finding out more about the love Field Potteries you can fin information on line.
