You are bidding on an old 19th Century Butter Churn made of Cedar Wood and staved construction with 3 metal bands. The wood is nice and tight as only Cedar can do. T is one stave that is little longer to hang on a wall. It is a great size at 21 1/2" tall 36" to the top of the dasher. It has a diameter of 9" at the base and about 6" diameter at the rim. Please check picuture # 3 for the plug in the base of the churn for easy draining. The lid for the churn is not cedar and may not be original to the piece although it fits very well. Please Check the pictures. I selling this great looking little butter churn with no reserve. It is a great display piece for that primitive decor. Good Luck !!!
