Auction is for both brooms. Both are from same estate- clean and non-smoking. Broom number one, which is to the left in first picture, is the Berea College broom. Retains original tag and beautiful green sweep. Some of the basket wrap has come loose and looks to have been repaired or glued back at some point and a bit of wire is showing mid-way up. Some of the wrap is missing from the top. Look close at pics. Otherwise a beautiful broom- the green is fabulous. The "Berea College Student Industries Berea Kentucky" tag is loose but still intact. Broom measures 31 x 3 inches. The other broom is woven, and beautiful- it measures about 35 x 13 inches at widest. The blonde sweep is very soft- almost like a horse mane. I have never felt such a soft broom. The construction on this one is in-depth and it looks as if the weave is wrapped around individual pieces of wood that is then woven and split out into the sweep part. Beautiful, complete, looks all original. Some signs of wear, beautiful turks head on the crown. Both brooms will ship for 15 dollars US s/h/i. Look close, please email questions. No reserve.
