Double your traffic. Sally's Cellar is so excited to finally be posting some spring break finds! We were able to meld two trips into one large week without managing to bore our teenage sons too much. Don't worry they had fun attending college baseball games and military museums while we used their muscle power to fill up our trailer to bring treasures from three states back to share with you!Up for sale (by BIN or very best generous offer), we have a gorgeous wooden foot stool with a beautifully artistic dark red needlepoint cover. My favorite part of this stool is the wood... the stool is built on a slight slant with a taller portion slanting down to the bottom. The wood (to me) looks like primitive pine. It has a gorgeous rich luster about it that matches many of our favorite antiques passed down through the generations in our own personal collections. The needlework is in fabulous condition and features a very genteel floral design. I do not see any threads unraveling neither on top nor the underside. My favorite part of this piece is the alternating metal rivets (I am sure there is a better name for them.... sorry) used in tacking the cloth to the wood.
