* * * * PRETTIEST VINTAGE FABRICS * * * * If you love vintage pattern and color, you're gonna REALLY LOVE THIS!!! I found this vintage quilt TOP at an old rural estate in Washington ~ hundreds of little 2x2" squares are all hand-stitched/pieced and the more recently-added(?) surrounding fuscia pink and blue border strips are machine-sewn. I just love this really bright and colorful, eclectic collection of vintage fabric squares ... my quess is at least from the 1930s-40's cause they all look like feedsack/old dress fabric to me, but I'm no expert so please take all that into account when bidding. I found lots of old quilts and linens at this estate, in all degrees of quality and condition; this quilt TOP is in pretty good condition, clean and smoke-free, with a few areas of undone stitching (photo of worst), but easily repairable I believe. Also, t are rust stains mostly in the corners (photo of worst) ~ was it folded and then water damaged? Measures about 70x80", pictures on a king bed. It appears to have been laundered as t are tangled threads in back. I'm happy to answer any questions. I do my best to find and reveal all flaws. Buyer pays USPS Priority Mail ~ no handling fee.
