Up for bids is an antique primitive whisk broom made by my great grandfather, when he was twenty-years old. c.1920s-1930s. Handmade by him, in a small village in the Azores; a small group of islands owned by Portugal in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. The village is named Saint Peter's, and is located in Sao Miguel Azores, a very beautiful place, where I was born. You can view these stunning islands to learn more about the origin of this broom via Google Maps. The only reason I'm parting with it is because I have enjoyed it all these years, and I want to pass it on to someone else who will cherish and appreciate it as much as myself. Plus I have another, so my corner is still full! This broom is handmade and very old. Very rare opportunity to find a gorgeous piece of fall décor with only one owner, in the same family all these years. The broom is in good condition and has been well taken care of. This would make a wonderful decoration for autumn! Imagine it in the corner leaning or hanging on the wall. Fall will be upon us soon and quality décor like this is difficult to come by. This is a great example, in exceptional condition, with a great history. Contains six branches that act as the handle and some smaller wheat/twigs for the bottom.
