is a very-well preserved antique spinning wheel up for bids without reserve. Hidden away in the hayloft of an old barn for decades, this rustic spinning wheel still has all of its parts! Beautiful for display or with some fine-tuning, actual spinning!
More than a century old, this wheel has a great, aged surface that is just the way we first saw it. We think it looks great just as it sits but imagine what some paste wax or linseed/tung oil what do! T's still a thick layer of dust on it from years of storage so a light cleanup is in order. This spinning wheel even has the old distaff, the part that usually gets lost. Overall, it has a height of 52 inches and is about 30 inches long. The diameter of the wheel is 16 inches. Nicely turned spindles all over this spinning wheel! Solid, tight, no rot or infestation. Ready to display, restore, or even use! It would enhance any room you display it in! Great for window displays, theatrical prop, educational tool, or even a museum exhibit. This is a very nice antique spinning wheel direct from its original estate!
