This is a nice antique American wooden doll cradle. Probably dates to the late 1800s. It is made of either white pine or poplar and retains its original surface. It is made of butt nailed construction Cradle measures 171/4" long, 7" wide without rockers, and 71/2" tall at the head. It is in nice original condition with eye appealing wear. The only apologies are the end of one rocker is missing and there is a small piece missing at the rear left joint. Both losses ocurred very long ago for there is good oxidation on them. A nice early cradle!!! Thanks for looking.
