Here's something you don't want to miss! This is a 19th Century wooden hook rack in very good condition! Wonderfully primitive, it has 9 forged iron hooks, each a little bit different than the others. The plank these hooks are attached to has a great, whimsical style that is delightfully hand cut and imperfect. And best of all, it has old blue paint with even older red paint underneith that can be seen where the blue has worn off. This great, country item is just as we found it, still dusty but very well-preserved. The patina is completely original and untouched. This rack measures 34 1/4 inches long and 8 1/2 inches high while the hooks are of varying sizes. This is a quality, early item that is perfect for decorating country themed rooms, log houses, farm houses, theatrical or tv settings, or even for display in a museum exhibit. It would look especially nice with utensils, hand dipped candles, oil lamps, pots, bedwarmers, and more hanging from it. Item in old blue paint are getting very scarce these days! The winning bidder adds postage. No Reserve!
