Antique Pyrography Flemish Art Wall Plaque Game Birds Item Description: This auction is for an antique round Flemish Art Wall Plaque done with the wood burning technique call Pryrography. It is a magnificent example of this early 1900's craftsmanship and measures 14 7/8 inches in diameter. It is of three Game Birds to be more exact Grouse, displayed after a day of hunting. The piece is wonderful executed and the outer band is done in a honey comb design followed on the inside of the design with a twisted rope motif. The background behind the birds is lightly textured.
