Antique Queen Victoria Diamond Jubilee 1897 Printed Linen Handkerchief - The Old Brigade description : This printed linen hankie is from the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria - it measures 15" x 13.5" and features odes to The Old Brigade and The Red White & Blue. Central to the piece are military and guard troops, horses and a liberty maiden holding a banner "Long Live Victoria - Queen of a World-Wide Empire". Please note: I have a number of these hankies available - they are not reproductions . I recently purchased an estate lot of linens where these were discovered - stored and with a slight odor of cedar. The pieces in this lot were quite old, from the late 1800's and early 1900's. I guarantee these are original pieces. condition : The colors are still nice after all these years and there are no rips, tears, holes or repairs. This pieces is in excellent vintage condition.
