I found this pre 1900 cuckoo clock at an estate sale this past weekend. I brought it home and set it up and it ran just fine and kept good time. I cleaned it up some and oiled the woodwork as it was very dry. The fret work looks good and the top piece looks good. The works are origional and have stamped on the works made in Germany. The face does not look to be origional but is not broken, the hands look origional. The pendulum looks origional as are the weights. The lattice work is good with one chip on the bottom right. The cuckoo appears on the hour and cuckoo's and chimes the number of hours. On the half hour he appears again and cuckoo's once. I was very surprised that this cuckoo clock runs as good as it does. The size is 17"H x 13"W x 6 1/2"D. This cuckoo clock comes with its pendulum and weights. I am selling this cuckoo clock as is.
