*** EARLY ENGLISH DELFT POLYCHROME TIN GLAZE FIGURAL OPEN DOUBLE SALT Signed/Dated 1792 and Wonderfully Painted This auction is for a Rare Tin-glaze English Delft Figural Open Double Salt. It is in the extraordinary form of a double faced woman carrying two bowls, with hand-painted/decorated floral design in blue, green, yellow, orange and mulberry. Superb craftsmanship and fantastic condition with only one insignificant flake on base rim and natural bottom wear and darkening of unglazed areas. Well marked on the bottom and dated on the base. Measures 7" h x 6" w x 3.5" base diameter. Very desirable three-dimentional addition to any collection.
