For Auction at no reserve 18th century Fine ivorie netsuke of monkey blowing on the bamboo branch while seating on large bamboo. Very clever himotoshi placement at the top of the bamboo and on the back. This is very old netsuke that was worn a lot, yet loved nice patina (aji) from rubbing against kimono. Very similar monkeys are in museums representing 18th century netsuke. No repairs of any kind just age cracks. I guarantee this piece authentic Japanese antique netsuke.The dimensions are height 2.2 inches and width 1inch at the widest . Please ask all questions prior to bidding.
