Slate Blackboard w/Oak Frame & Chalk Tray This auction is for an antique real slate blackboard/chalkboard with an oak frame and chalk tray. The total board measures about 22 1/4" x 16 1/4". The actual slate measures about 19 1/2" x 13 1/2". The solid oak frame has tongue/groove corners and has a pronounced grain to it which adds to its appearance. The two-sided slate is also in very good condition with no chips or cracks. It is easily written upon and erases cleanly. A piece of old wire is still attached to two metal hooks on its back for hanging. An old blackboard eraser is included. I've sold many blackboards over the years and this is one of the nicest. This board is not only decorative but functional as well. It's clean, solid, and ready to hang and use. Questions?? ...ask! Please email with any questions.
