Here is a wonderful antique red calico ninepatch quilt. The nine patch pattern is formed of calico prints in yellow and cranberry, with a background of red and yellow print. The binding and backing are cotton muslin in natural. The quilt is hand pieced and hand quilted in stitches numbering about 7 per inch. The overall condition is very good antique, with some tiny and small holes to the cotton background fabric primarily at the borders, and one small hand stitched mending. The measurements are approx. 82 in. by 82 in.
