For your consideration is a nice refinished antique trunk made by BB&B Trunks of Pgh, Pa. The trunk measures 32" by 20" by 23" high, a nice size that's easy to move around but offers plenty of storage space. This is a 'true' flat top trunk, making it an excellent choice for a coffee table. Trunk comes with its original tray and working key. The tray is very unique in that it is iron bound and comes with a wooden cover. This is the first trunk with a tray that has a wood lid that I have seen. Many trunks come with cardboard tray lids which are usually very deteriorated and unuseable. All hardware on this trunk is a heavier iron than you would see on most trunks. The eight four legged slat clamps make this an extremely strong, durable trunk, a trunk thay can last for many generations of your family. I added the two lid lifters because of the weight of the trunk lid. The lifters make it easy to raise the lid and also keeps fingers clear when closing. The interior of the trunk has been cleaned out, sanded and sealed. Ready for your keepsakes, throws, blankets or anything you desire. I included a picture that was taken during the finish process that shows all the hardware in the primer stage and before final sanding of the trunk. If you plan to buy a trunk ask the seller how any rust was removed and if the hardware was primed before it was painted. A trunk should stay as received for many years, but if it wasn't done right, it will not. I ship to the lower forty-eight by Grayhound so check your nearest station before bidding.
