You are bidding on an Antique Regency Carved Mahogany Sofa Parlor Wing Back Club Chair. I have ALL the matching pieces to this living room parlor set on Ebay and ALL of these auctions start at one dollar bids with NO reserve. This set is a RARE FIND due to its size, age and beauty and dates back to Circa 1930 American made Mahogany. This piece sits on beautifully tapered and curved cabriole legs with scrolled Ancathus leaf designs and scrolled feet. The top has a beautifully carved pediment with circular rosettes on each side and a beautiful carved tear drop bell flower motif at the center as shown in the photos. The top has a beautiful floral leaf pattern on each side with nicely scrolled carvings in the manner of Fleur-De-Lis designs which are nicely swagged across the top and bottom . The top of each arm rest has decorative floral foliage carved throughout with open carved cut outs in each arm with small decorative rosettes in the center of each open The top of each leg a has a shell crested floral motif with Ancathus carved leaf design going throughout the piece. The upholstery has a nice tufted back and a nice Satin fabric with floral decor pattern in a Satin finish. I took a picture of the chair with the matching set that are on separate Ebay auctions so you can get a better idea on what they look like. This set was VERY WELL made with quality that surpasses ANYTHING made today and is all wood construction but Please understand that this is antique that so it has some minor imperfections on it with its age and the upholstery needs to be professionally cleaned and stuffed or recovered but overall its in excellent shape. This piece measures approx 42 1/2 inches high, 32 1/2 inches wide, 26 inches deep and sits at approx 18 inches in height.This is a NO RESERVE auction and since I am assuming all the risk by starting the bidding at $1 dollar you will have to pay for shipping.
