Antique Religious Medal: Saint Mary Magdalen This wonderful old medal was made in France in the late 1800s or early 1900s. It is silver plated brass, measuring 5/8" (15 mm) in diameter. It depicts Mary Magdalene with an amphora (a jar used by priests to hold annointing oil). The reverse reads: Souvenir de la Sainte Baume (Remembrance of St. Baume). Mary Magdalene is buried in the oratory of St. Maximin la St. Baume, near Marseille. See my other medal and rosary listings, too. The Fine Print This item is being sold as is. All sales are final.
