Antique religious retablo of the Blessed Virgin painted on tin. 10 1/4" x 14". It is framed with a black metal 1/2" frame. The painting is beautifully done. The Virgin has a wreath of roses on her head. She is holding a rose in one hand, and a lily in the other. The Holy Spirit is above her hands. Her robes are salmon and blue trimmed in gold. The color is beautiful, t is a gold luminescence enveloping this painting. T are five nail holes, one on the bottom and two on each side of the edge of the painting. T are flecks of missing paint and some bends in the tin. T is an 1" long scratch between the roses on her halo. None of these minor items take away from the beauty of this painting.
