AMAZING ORIGINAL ANTIQUE RETRO BOW BROOCH 19.25K GOLD AND CEYLON SAPPHIRE STONE Made in the RETRO style during the 1940s. HANDMADE from high carat 19.25K GOLD (800/1000). It is a beautiful design which is hand crafted from 19,25 ct Gold. The centre of the brooch is adorned with a Superb Emerald Cut Synthetic Ceylon Sapphire Stone - Sky-Blue Colour measuring approximately 5.5mm by 7.5mm and weighing approximately 1 carat . It dates from circa 1940 and is a beautiful unique period brooch. It has a quality secure gold pin with a lever clasp and safety catch to the back stamped 800 (19.25K). The brooch measures 2.3cm x 4.2cm , nearly 1 in wide by 1.65 inch long . 3.8 grams It can be worn as a brooch but also on a piece of black velvet round the neck or round the wrist.
