NO RESERVE...This is a VERY RARE ANTIQUE circa 1930s Steamship Advertising Piece...It is a Glass and Wood with Thermometer Gauge Sign from the Paris Ticket Office for the Norddeutscher Lloyd Lines Steamship Co....It is in EXCELLENT Condition and measures 15 inches tall by 9 1/2 inches wide and 2 inches deep...It has the colorful beveled glass sign with round thermometer gauge front and a wooden back with the marking stamp on the rear...Not sure if the Bremen text is for the ship SS Bremen or part of the company name...The SS Bremen was a German Built Ocean Liner of 938 feet in length launched in 1928 for the Norddeutscher Lloyd Lines and was the most advanced steamship of her time...She was a holder of the Blue Riband taking the record from the Mauretania in 1929...She was destroyed during WWII...Overall a very unique and very rare maritime item...Buyer Pays Shipping.
