This is an antique small sword, or officer's sword from about the revolutionary period. I am not positive, but I believe it is French. The 'fluted' design of ricasso and overall style seem to be French. It features a narrow, diamond shaped blade and kidney shaped guard. The 'turks-head' wire on eather end of the grip appear to be original, but I suspect that the 'silver' wire on the grip may be a replacement (I'm not sure). And, please note the last picture which shows that one of the quillons shows a crack. T are no marking anyw on the sword that I can find. No scabbard. Sold as is. No Reserve I accept PayPal, Cashiers Check or Money Order for payment. Buyer to pay a fixed rate of $20 for US Priority shipping, packing and insurance, if shipped inside the US. For any bidders outside of the US, buyer will pay actual shipping costs. All sales final. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
