"Corey Hill" Pattern Tableware Elegant Antique Ridgway "Corey Hill" Pattern scalloped bowl. Staffordshire, c. Mid 1800s. Victorian Period. Chinoiserie Scenic Motif. Measures just under 6 inches in diameter and is 1 inch deep. What a gorgeous Flow Blue bowl this is! Wonderful colors. Mint condition too! No chips, cracks or crazing on this beautiful 100+ year old bowl. Circa 1850 - 1890 Wonderful flow blue underglaze with chinoiserie decoration with hand applied enamel color for the flowers, embellished with red, green, and pink enamel. Utterly breath taking pattern in person! Flow blue was made in England and other countries from about 1830 to 1900. The dishes were printed with designs using a cobalt blue coloring. The color flowed from the design to the white body so that the finished piece has a smeared blue design. The dishes were made of ironstone china. Made by William Ridgway, later known as Ridgways Ltd. Pattern number 6751 & 8 marked in red on bottom and also known as Corey Hill pattern. Corey Hill is stamped on the underside of the lip of the bowl.
