This lamp is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs and only normal wear to the base. It is complete with the original Riverside collar (see p. 40 of Thuro's 1st book), and the corresponding notches are present on both the lamp and the collar. The collar is marked 'Patented Sep. 19 1882 and Dec 4 1883' followed by 5 stars. This lamp is good sized with an overall height of 5 1/4" and a base diameter of 4 1/4". The almond thumbprints protrude outwardly on the font and are filled in completely on the base. is a very striking lamp with a flared handle.
