These plates are highly collectible and absolutely stunning in their detail. The outside ring of the plate features 2" gold colored trim. The inner ring of each plate is colored. Included in the set is Burgandy, Blue, Yellow, Red,Green, and Pink. Each center section features a fabulous floral design with very intricate detail. I am not certain of the exact age! In doing some research the marking on the back looks similar to a marking the company used between 1928 and 1939. What I find most interesting is that the marking reads "Tchecoslovaquie" vs. Czechoslovakia. This would be a facinating set to research if you have a passion for Czech porcelain. A little History on RKG taken from their website. In 1911, Rudolf Kampf founded the "Porzellanfabrik Rudolf Kampf GMBh, Grunlas" porcelain factory in Loucky, Czech Republic. The company featured a brand mark of a Crone beneath which were the letters RKG- standing for Rudolf Kampf of Grunlas. In 1945, the company was nationalized and became part of the Slavkovsky porcelan company. In 1992, the company was privatized in a direct sale to Leander 1946, s.r.o. how it exists today.
