Up for auction a Beautiful Wooden ROLL TOP Lap desk,I don't have a lot of info on it, it has not been appraised. The condition for it's age is very good, and I am basing that on the others I've seen. The wood maybe walnut, it is dark wood and in good condition, with brass handles, When it is folded out the writing surface is felt, which t is a blemish to the bottom, and I believe the picture displays this, when it is turned over t is fabric on the bottom of the box, also when the roll top is pushed back the drawer opens by itself, and as you can see the key is t along with the ink bottles.
