Look at this absolutely gorgeous victorian era glass bride's basket! It is rose cased glass with a silverplate frame. The glass basket is approx. 10 inches in diameter. The basket and frame together stand about 12 inches tall. The basket is ruffled and crimped...probably made by one of the glass companies of the day...Pairpoint or Mt. Washington Glass Works. The glass basket is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or other problems. The silverplate frame is in good condition. It does have some of the silverplate worn off in places. I have not cleaned it...I will leave that up to the new owner. It is marked on the bottom with Quadruple...New York...a maltase cross, WR, a keystone and 537.This piece would make such a wonderful addition to your victorian glass collection or your elegant home! What a perfect gift for someone!I am not an expert in this area. Please email me if you have any questions.Did you see my new Ebay store ?It's called Bea's Pin Cushion!!
