For sale is a gorgeous Rosenthal Germany pedestal teacup in the floral pattern. c:1940-1949. Very collectible The first set of 10 cups, 1 creamer, 3 large plates are backstamped: Rosenthal Selb-Germany, Sanssouci U.S. Zone. The 1 sugar bowl, 1 teapot, 10 small plates and, 7 large plates are backstamped: Rosenthal Selb-Germany, Sanssouci.The pattern on the cups and saucers are identical to the other ones listed; however, the cups for the Occupied Zone are slightly different shade of white. The cups are 2 1/4" wide x 1 1/4" tall besides being trimmed in gold the entire interior of the cups are gold filled; saucer is 4"wide, plates are 6" wide. All are in excellent condition with the exception of 1 saucer which is chipped I have included a photo of it. Also the pattern on one of the 6" plates is 4 large roses unlike the floral pattern on the others. So I guess you can consider it a complete 9 service set.Excellent condition on all the rest of them.
