You are bidding on this magnificent Eight(8) piece Dutch Creamware Tankard by Roseville Pottery. The tankard front has the decal of a women holding hands with two children all wearing wooden shoes; the back is not decorated. Standing 11 ½ ” tall with a 5” base diameter The bottom does not have the raised relief maker’s mark; this is unmarked, one chip at the very front of the spout and a pock mark that seems to have caused another small chip in the front and crazing commensurate with age. The front of the steins have different decals; Some of which have cracks but the cracks are under the glaze, T is crazing on every piece, three of the mugs are the same of a boy fishing, two of a boy lighting a pipe and a girl watching, one of a boy and girl with two geese, and one of a girl carrying a cat. The bottoms do not have the raised relief maker’s mark; all are unmarked Standing 5” tall and 3 1/4” in diameter, these mugs are in very good antique condition, moderate to heavy crazing, as you can see in the photographs; This is a wonderful set of Ivory Creamware early Roseville Tankard/Steins, perfect for any collection.
