BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE ROSEWOOD TEA CADDY 1860 box This is a beautiful ANTIQUE ROSEWOOD TEA CADDY In my estimation it dates from around the mid 19th Century, circa 1850-1870, but please make up your own mind about this. The caddy measures approx 8 1/2 inches (215mm) wide, by 5 inches (225mm) deep, by 5 3/4 inches (150mm) tall and is made from polished rosewood. The lid opens and closes without issue, and has "stand up" hinges. It stands on four bun feet and has two lidded compartments inside. It is in very good condition, with light wear in keeping with its great age, but no damage, or woodworm This beautiful antique tea caddy is a fine example of its type and it would make a great addition to any collection.
