The brown cotton covered cambric handset cord is original, the mounting cord has been replaced with new top quality factory fresh stock. The dial is a WESTERN ELECTRIC number 2 (clickety click) which was factory converted to a number 4 and has a metropolitan "Z" type dial face, with the original number card and nickel plated number card holder. The base felt covering is in like new condition and is again original to this set. The early "E" handset, original to this phone, has the much sought after early "bullet" style transmitter for that distinct antique telephone sound. The 634 subset which was then and is still necessary for the proper operation of this type telephone, comes with several feet of cord between it and the phone. The subset is also equipped with a "modular" mounting cord and RJ-11 plug for easy do-it-yourself hook up.
