Double your traffic. Royal Bonn Franz Anton Mehlem Two Handled Vase Gorgeous detailed work all the way around on this Royal Bonn earthenware vase. Painted with flowers and leaves against nature-filled background. Petals and leaves are outlined with gilt. Some elements have raised enamel accents. I have taken several photographs and will let these provide the description of the beautiful artwork on this vase - it has the appearance of a fine tapestry. Several markings on bottom. Brown crowned shield Franz Anton Mehlem factory mark used 1875-1890. It is hard to see in photos, but there is also an incised circular FRANZ ANT MEHLEM BONN Y RHEIN mark - used 1870-1920. Also incised and hand-painted markings. The previous owner had placed two stickers on base - I am leaving these. Stands 11" tall. Do not find any chips, hairlines, cracks. There is some gold loss on the edges of the handles as you can see in the photos. I also see a small spot of missing paint along the base - this is not a chip. Ships UPS Ground service with signature required to confirmed addresses in United States or USPS Priority Mail International to Canada. Fully insured. I do not consider myself to be an expert on antiques, but I have an appreciation for items passed down from generation to generation and absolutely love to shop estate sales and auctions. In most cases, the boxes I use will be a little oversize because I want your purchase to arrive safely. I will always offer UPS 2nd Day or UPS Next Day shipping if you contact me.
