ANTIQUE ROYAL DOULTON NATURALISTIC AESTHETIC LEAVES PITCHER! Gorgeous estate collection example of the Royal Doulton Lambeth circa 1920 Aesthetic style naturalistic pitcher with leaves surrounding the body of the pitcher...note the shadow work done throughout the background...quite exquisite. We have some vases in this design and pattern listed also, which are signed by Maud Bowden who was one of the many long-service Doulton ceramic artists. She started in 1903 when the period of elaborate High Victorian designs had changed into the more simple tube-lined designs and went on until 1937. This may be one of her pieces also, but it is unsigned as to artist. Earth tone brown colors with a crackled appearance...really a beautiful example that we do not often see. Measures in at 7 & 1/8" tall to the top rim edge. No chips, cracks or hairlines. Ask questions if you have them...will be carefully packed and shipped promptly upon confirmation of your payment.
