This is a FIVE day NO RESERVE auction ending Monday evening Aug. 6. This listing is for a fantastic looking ROYAL DUX PORCELAIN FIGURINE OF TWO HUNING DOGS. This antique was produced in BOHEMIA between the years of 1890-1910. The base shows the correct raised diamond pad for the Bohemian mark and the numbers 1556. The hunting dogs are RARELY found and especially in this great of a condition! They are PERFECT with NO chips, NO cracks, NO stains, NO defects, NO restorations and NO crazing! Each one is accented in gold gilt as seen in my photos. The base shows a bit of wear on the edge only of the gilding and possibly may have had some professional restoraton to the edge about 4" long as t is a tight "hairline" on the base as seen in a picture that possibly went up the side of the base and is conceivable that it happened an in the original manufacturing process. T are No cracks, NO chips or other restoration on the base whatsover and the gilding is in wonderful condition. The total length of the piece is 16", it is 7" wide and 7.5" in height. This fabulous looking antique piece of Royal Dux was taken to the ANTIQUES ROAD SHOW IN CLEVELAND OHIO IN 2004 and was given a verbal appraisal of $600-800. I am offering this fine example in this auction with a very realistic opening bid of only $249.95 and NO RESERVE! I have also placed a BUY IT NOW OF $599.
