is an antique creamer and sugar in the Classical Style. According to the " Kovels' Dictionary of Marks Pottery & Porcelain 1650 to 1850" the mark is the Royal Vienna mark that was used from 1744 till 1820 . I got these at the same estate sale as the lovely Meissen items I auctioned off on ebay. The gold dots and the tiny white dots that circle the creamer and sugar are raised. The base color is a beautiful rich forest/emerald green . On the sugar the woman is laying on a leopard skin looking at a cherub holding on to a string that is attached to a white dove. On the creamer are two young women smiling as the one woman paints a heart with arrows on the side of a pillar. (Looks like graffti to me)The creamer is 5 1/4 inches high and 4 1/4 inches from the spout to the handle. The sugar is 2 1/4 inches high and 3 1/8 inches in diameter. Condition: Remarkably good considering their age. T is some wear to the gold trim around the top of the creamer and some wear to the gold trim on the handle near the top w your fingers would go. T is also a tiny bit of wear to the gold on top of one of the feet of the creamer and a small flake type chip (1/8th inch) to the side of another foot on the creamer (see arrow in last photo). The creamer and sugar weigh just over a lb. and they will be double boxed to insure their safe arrival. Please email me with any questions. Buyer pays exact postage and insurance, t are no handling fees and item ships within 1 business day upon receipt of payment.
