Beautiful light Victorian ruffled lace collar!Excellent unused linen organdy collar with a form of chemical lace cutwork around the neck and a fine Valenciennes lace trim at the ruffled edge. Color is very white, clean and fresh. Found in a Western Massachusetts estate lot that contained many laces from the 1800s. The look is similar to Irish Carrickmacross, but is a machine version. Beautiful piece. Measurements: Collar inside measurement is 18" around the inner neck edge. Depth of 7" at the widest part at the front/side where it has the appearance of a bib style. Condition: Excellent condition, unused, freshly cleaned. Vintage textiles help save the planet!
