This is a exquisite small lidded silver jar which according to the original is from Russia, and is sterling silver. However I could not find any silver marks so I am not sure if this is sterling silver but I do not see sign of any other metal base but silver. Featuring a lidded jar with a thick cobalt glass insert and a beautiful hand forged dog finial. I found 3 marks on the bottom, with one which looks like a two headed bird, or a type of sunburst, a stamped number 3, and a hand etched "Z-W"??. It is in very good condition measuring with handle 3.5 inches wide by 2.5 inches high. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A 5 DAY AUCTION WHICH ENDS ON SUNDAY. THANK YOU.
