Up for auction is this Unique Antique Black Amethyst Glass Cigarette Covered Box with the Elephant Lid. This antique black amethyst glass cigarette box is beautiful and was made by the United States Glass Comapny in the 1930's. The item is fresh from a southern wisconsin estate and is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The cigarette set was also made with a terrier dog on the top, but this box has the elephant. There was several sizes of ashtrays to compliment this item. The black amethyst covered box measures 3 3/4" tall, 3 3/4" top long, and 2 3/4" top wide. Please look at the detailed pictures of the covered box. The elephant cigarette box is thick glass but held to bright sunlight has a hue of deep purpple. Please look at my other listings this week as I have several other lamp, antiques, vintage and depression glass. I do combine items for shipping to save postage fees.
